celtic renaissance journal

this belgian eyelet journal is folscap size, 4.5 by 6.75 including the slightly overhanging covers (~11.5 by 17 cm) and contains 45 sheets (180 pages if you count front and back) of heavy weight unlined sketch paper. the cover is illustration board covered in some celtic/renaissance-themed decorative paper. the pattern continues uninterrupted on the inside covers. the binding is the so-called "secret belgian eyelet binding" in unbleached linen thread, making a series of asymetrical triangles down the spine edge of each cover. the spine itself is held in place only by the strength of the thread, no gluing or other fasteners are used.
