Artist's Comments

the one thing i consitantly CAN'T WRAP MY BRAIN AROUND is picking colors. especially flesh tones. in know painter IX comes w/ a flesh tones palette, but i don't like it that much, and so here's one i made from this photoshop swatch file. just save it to your corel painter directory where it says "color sets" and enjoy!

also, holy batman, am i really the first ever submission to the corel painter IX resources gallery? something's wrong here people! get going!

[ after dA changed the format of their links (yes, i know, like a year ago or something...) the link above no longer works. since i'm obviously a little dense, i failed completely to fav the thing, and i can't find it again. dA's search feature is a total fail in this endeavour, and even google wasn't much help. so, all you lovelies out there, if you find it, let me know, i'd like to give some credit. ]

I have a problem with downloading it :/
:iconyatsu:
when you click on the "download to desktop" button, and you get all those text things, you can select all and copy it into a plain text document in your Corel color set directory. i'm pretty sure that you can then import that into painter.

I tried...But it just poped up an "ERROR Bad file" thing. I looked at the other sets that was allready there and they had some letters behind. Then I took a screen cap. and used the droper and made the set from there, saved it and tried to load it from the libary after having picked another set, but I got another "ERROR Can't open this file"
:iconyatsu:
hrm... i'm sorry, i'm not sure what else to say. this is the first i've heard of the file not working. i guess the only thing i can suggest is to make sure your copy of painter hasn't been infected by viruses or spyware and that it and/or your hard drive hasn't been corrupted or something. sorry i'm not too much help here... :(
