Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

well, now that things have recovered a bit...

it's like in War of the Worlds, that one scene where mr. cruise and his fam get up to the docks, and the whole mob starts going crazy because he had a car. people, you're already at the docks. you're going to get on a boat. what good is a car to you now? ...yeah, they didn't care, they just wanted the car. so they shot some people, they beat some people, and some people died.

then comes deviantART. something bad happens, and people forget all about being intelligent, about being civil, about being human instead of some bastard. threats? not cool. violence? not cool. scott himself is over there begging you people to behave yourself, and you can't even be bothered to pay attention to the directives of the man you claim to represent.

so, i'm pretty well sick of stupid people. ...not like i had that much of a tolerance to begin with. so what am i gonna do about it? i'm gonna be exactly as i always have been: civil to nice people and excruciatingly rude to stupid people. also, i'm gonna be even more community-active than i ever have been. jark's all about the community, so so am i. i'm doing some research on this new group, ~goiim which sounds cool, i'm gonna start writing an entry every month for ~bevelled-edge, and i'm gonna enter the things on ~FantasyWritersUnited every time they've got one. as for artwork, well, i've still got #Apophysis to submit to, and of course i'll be posting other people's artwork that i've colored. so i guess if you think about it, all i'm really doing is becoming even more acitve in the community than i was before. so there.
