ok, it was freakin 6.45 before i left. i wasn't too pleased. but at least i'm getting paid for it. onto the translation:

Here is the sequence of the moon's course [it's goings] and sea floods [tides]. On the three night old moon, waneth the sea floods until the moon be-eth eleven nights old or twelve. Of the eleven night old moon, waxeth the sea flood until the eighteen night old moon. From the eighteen night old moon, waneth the sea flood until the twenty-six night old moon. Of the twenty-six night old moon, waxeth the sea floods until the moon be-eth again three nights old.

now, how can you POSSIBLY deny the inherent AWESOMENESS of that? you can't. that's it. it's just too cool to deny. the way "sæflodes" sounds almost exactly like "sea floods"? the way that "þreora nihta ealdne monan" just rolls off the tongue? TOO COOL TO DENY!!!

ok. i'm better now. as for being at work so freaking long, you'd really think that if you're gonna have somebody stay late to make up for your deficiencies in MS Word, you'd think you could at least have the componants set up. so that you wouldn't have to spend the better part of TWO FREAKIN HOURS with your assistant SITTING ON HER ASS doing nothing.
