victory!?

well, actually i'm done w/ Raiser of Gales,
but it's so god-like, i'll put it up anyway

so i've got this little thing in my little system tray that tells me when i get a new e-mail message. so it pops up, message from krissi at ~suture. i'm like, oh yeah! the contest! i entered the contest to design suture mag a website using wordpress. here's my entry:

now for the real shocker: I GOT 2ER PLACE!!! YEA!!!

i got 2er. place. who wouldda guessed? not me, anyway. so i'm feeling super happy now. too bad this headache won't leave me alone. i should be doing some writing right now. i have until the 16er to write and submit something for ~FantasyWritersUnited's modern magic contest. man, why's it gotta be modern magic. the closest thing i've got is set in 1883. not quite what i'd call modern. plus, i'm having confidence issues. i'll write some stuff, decide it's crap, and go play digital devil saga. which, by the way, is the sexiest game i have played in quite some time. i'm totally addicted. last night? bat? blew UP. and i cheered. a lot. loudly. bastard. that'll teach you to attack MY sera. that'll teach you to attack MY argilla. also, i got a hug from sera.

and then heat had to go and make her cry. poor heat. he's a good guy, he's just got rage issues. and possession issues. and a gigantic inferiority complex. so, really he's just a walking bag of Issues, but he's still not a bad guy. when sera was in trouble, he was the first one, in fact the only one who made it, out the door to go save her. when he was made to fight me, he used his brain and tricked our enemy, which ended up saving both me and sera. after he made her cry, he almost cried himself. and now he's not talking. every time i ask him, it's "nothing," or "i'm fine," or "go away." plus, anybody, and i mean anybody voiced by the Crispin Freeman gets my vote and then some. you know he does a mythology lecture at conventions? too cool!

can i take mr. freeman home with me?
