~it's coming~
well, i know i just did a journal yesterday, but seeing as something very cool just occured and seeing as i completely forgot to brag about my forthcoming entrance to the world of broadband internet, i figured i'd write another one.
a) nanowrimo. or rather, NaNoWriMo. national novel writing month. i'm doing it. you should too. it's very cool, and it doesn't require you to have any actual skill. plus, as soon as my father's mother's money shows up, i will be getting a laptop, so i can nano write where ever i please. ooo yes.
b) for Broooaaadbaaand. road runner to be exact. on tuesday the 11er, sometime between 9 am and 1 pm, a -possibly surly, probably fat- guy will come to my house, flip a few switches, and wha-zam! i will have digital internet AND digital cable. WiFi access shall be summarily set up by yours truly. imagine, michael! when you come home, you can just turn on your computer and wha-zam! you'll be online! fancy, hot, AND awesome. digital cable is pretty hot too, but michael already knows the glories of that. we figured that he and dad shouldn't be the only ones allowed to enjoy the hot and awesome of digital cable.
c) the big one. being published. not like, in print er anything, but still. being published by a magazine that aims to put itself in the same class as good magazines. ones where people actually WANT to be published, rather than BlahBlah Lazy Ass Internet Mag What Doesn't Mean a Thing to Anybody, Even its Creators. ~LostCauseMagazine, which is indeed pretty hot and awesome, will be publishing my story, early september, 1883 in their upcoming first issue. it's under my own name and everything! squee.

You know, we're in three of the same groups [*FantasyWritersUnited, ~bevelled-edge, and *NaNoWriters] and I don't think I've ever actually bumped into you. Odd, really.
So, hello.
i'm pretty quiet, so... and a recent enlistee to FWU, too. BE rocks though.
so, hallo back.
but squee on the mag publishing!
